About Veraset

Veraset is a Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) company fueling a deep understanding of population movement for innovators and problem solvers.

Our Story

Veraset started in 2016 as a business unit of SafeGraph and officially became an independent company in the summer of 2019.

Veraset's mission

Veraset’s mission is to fuel innovation by gathering, curating, and delivering high quality data.  Veraset is the leader in population movement datasets, and seeks to be the partner of choice for customers and data supply partners.

We provide data to power innovation

We curate data and make it easy to use for data scientists building machine learning models or running analytics to power their products. Startups, enterprises and organizations in the public sector leverage movement data to make more informed decisions.

We find signal in the noise

Our job is to find out what happened, when it happened, and where it happened. Data that isn't true has little value. While data can never be 100% true, we should strive to provide the most accurate, scalable data possible.

We are a data company

We are a data company, not an application company.  We leave the application of the knowledge (why it happened, how it happened, and what will happen in the future) to our customers. We are an important ingredient, like flour (i.e. movement data) or cake mix (i.e. visits data) to your overall product or solution.

We prioritize privacy, security and compliance

Veraset works with sensitive data. As responsible stewards, we must protect this data by practicing the highest standards in data privacy and preventing misuse. We give our customers choice and control over the data that can be shared.
